SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 13, 2010 – Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, announced today that it provided the advanced Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) propulsion that propelled Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control’s (LMMFC) successful PATRIOT Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) Guided Test Flight – 1B (GTF-1B).

SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 13, 2010 – Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, announced today that NASA Glenn Research Center has awarded the company a five-year Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide NASA with its space propulsion system technologies, including cryogenic and electric propulsion for spacecraft.

April 8, 2010 - PORT HUENEME, California – The first ARIES biodiesel production system has been delivered to Naval Base Ventura County. ARIES is the result of a collaborative effort by the U.S. Navy, Biodiesel Industries and Aerojet to produce a sustainable and reliable renewable fuel, biodiesel, using local resources.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 8, 2010 – Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, successfully completed 100 hot-fire test sequences of its R-1E 25-pound, thrust-bipropellant engine. The test included more than 27,389 starts with 6,298 seconds of total burn time under a broad variety of conditions expected for NASA’s Orion service module.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 7, 2010 – Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, announced that its engines contributed to Space Shuttle Discovery’s (STS-131) on-orbit operations and successful docking to the International Space Station (ISS). Discovery lifted off on April 5 from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida and docked with the ISS today.
