SACRAMENTO, Calif., April 10, 2008 – Aerojet, a GenCorp Inc. (NYSE: GY) company, announced its contract award today from NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) for the development of a 5,500lbf Liquid Oxygen-Liquid Methane engine.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. and DULLES, Va., April 7, 2008 – Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company and Orbital Sciences Corporation (NYSE: ORB) announced today that together the two companies successfully conducted a static firing of the jettison motor, a key component of the Launch Abort System (LAS) for NASA’s Orion next generation human spaceflight program.

SACRAMENTO, Calif., March 27, 2008 – Aerojet, a GenCorp (NYSE: GY) company, completed a successful test firing of a miniature solid propellant divert and attitude control system (DACS) for the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA). This test was an important milestone in Aerojet’s development of a solid propellant DACS for Missile Defense applications.
